Senior Firewall Engineer

+ Replace end-of-life Fortinet 800C Firewalls with Juniper SRX 1600 Firewalls.
+ Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during the migration process.

• Configuration and Implementation:

+ Develop and implement configurations for SRX 1600 Firewalls.
+ Convert existing Fortinet configurations to SRX configurations accurately.
+ Conduct thorough testing and validation of new Firewall configurations.

• Collaboration:

+ Work closely with internal teams, including network engineers and application stakeholders, to coordinate migration activities.
+ Provide regular updates on progress and any issues encountered.

• Technical Expertise:

+ Utilize advanced knowledge of Fortinet, SRX, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
+ Apply strong networking skills to support the Firewall migration process.
+ Leverage familiarity with ACI to integrate new Firewalls into the existing network infrastructure.


• Proven experience in Firewall migration projects, specifically involving Fortinet and Juniper SRX Firewalls.


• Strong background in configuring and managing Fortinet and SRX Firewalls.


• Proficiency in networking concepts and practices.


• Ability to convert Firewall configurations manually without relying solely on automated tools.


• Solid understanding of Palo Alto Firewall.


• Familiarity with ACI is highly desirable.
