Full Job Description

The Senior Football Access Manager has responsibility for managing Sky Sports Football access across the Premier League and EFL. This includes Premier League Section K access, maintaining relationships with the 20 Premier League clubs and the Premier League broadcast team, planning access across Sky's platforms and managing Sky wide business requests for football talent and player access.

You will be required to provide clear direction and cultivate a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, inclusion and innovation,

  • Lead the planning and management of Sky Sports Football access across all Sky platforms.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with all 20 PL clubs comms teams and the Premier League Broadcast Team to fully unlock and utilise our Section K access.

  • Work closely with Exec Producers and Content Producer to produce world class linear and digital /social PL content.

  • Lead on the management and delivery of On-Screen Talent requests from the wider Sky and Comcast business.

  • Develop key working relationships with Senior stakeholders across Sport and the business, promoting the sharing of ideas and information, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, and promoting the sharing/pooling of resources/teams where appropriate.


  • Build relationships with players and managers, identifying potential Sky talent of the future.

  • Work with the Sky Sports Strategy team to align on partnerships and support the wider business, trading, Glass, VIP, Ents.

    A knowledge and passion for Football.

  • Prior experience of working with or within Premier League/club comms teams.

  • Outstanding communication skills, including negotiating and conflict resolution.

  • Knowledge of Broadcast and digital content creation.

  • Knowledge of Sky Business

  • Ability to think on your feet and solve problems under time pressure.

  • Strong English Language and written skills.

  • Good editorial and creative judgement.
