Full Job Description
In the Financial Planning and Analysis Leader role for the Global Component Repair business, you will be responsible for the financial forecasting, planning and reporting for the Repair Value stream, interacting with senior leadership across various ATMRO functions of the business. You will work closely with the finance teams at each of the Repair shops to develop a thorough, in depth knowledge of our finance processes, and help GE maintain our excellent service to our valuable customers. You will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy. You will use your interpersonal skills to liaise with different stakeholders across the business, which will allow you to drive and influence performance in order to achieve our financial goals. This role will drive the highest standards of controllership, accounting and compliance with GE policies.,
- Lead the development of comprehensive business/ financial forecasts (18 month rolling forecast, budget, in quarter Forecasts, and Strategy forecasting) and help manage the business to meet its financial goals and drive accountability for variances to forecast and budget.
- Responsible for managing the business cycle (long term strategy, budget, QMI and weekly pulse forecasts) across the four global repair sites and lead the communication of financial plans/ results/ analysis.
- Lead tracking & short-term forecasting of financial performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation.
- Defining, collating data and publishing KPIs to measure financial performance in Repair and reporting progress to commercial stakeholders.
- Perform and lead month end closing and reporting cycles, working closely with Shop finance teams, Product line finance teams and CES FP&A team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Repair FP&A FMP team member.
- Communicate complex messages to others, in order to explain difficult or sensitive information and be able to skillfully influence colleagues to generate solutions to problems.
- Perform special analysis of any arising issues and recommend solutions to complex business issues.
- Evaluate processes and identify improvements.
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Finance & FP&A Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)). - For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))., High level of personal integrity.

- Demonstrated strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Has in-depth knowledge of FP&A best practices and standard business cycles.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Project management experience.
- Interest in operations, demonstrated willingness to get involved on operational financial issues.
- Solid track record of delivering results.
- Experience with process improvement and Six Sigma / Lean training.
- Experience with ERP platforms, ideally SAP and Essbase.
