  • rated property, is currently recruiting for a Senior Group and Catering Sales Manager to join our talented Events team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
  • In the role of the Senior Group and Catering Sales Manager, your key focus will be to:
  • Personally handle residential and non-residential sales group and events enquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate and convert into a confirmed pieces of business.
  • Monitor and manage prospect bookings, ensure activities in each booking are updated and bookings are followed up to maximise conversion.
  • Support MICE Sales Managers on FAM Trips and Client Entertainment to develop long standing relationships and drive business to the hotel.
  • Ensure compliance with group RFP tools such as Starcite and Cvent and ensure all information on these sites are frequently updated and accurate
  • Conduct weekly GRC Meeting with the Assistant Director of Catering.
  • Achieve group room and catering revenue goals.
  • There may be a requirement to support on the planning and BEO creation of short lead BEOs due to high demand periods.

    previous experience of handling reactive groups and catering sales at a managerial level
  • strong knowledge of the reactive sales process
  • working knowledge of event planning (desirable)
  • strong customer focus
  • ability to work in a fast moving environment and to deadlines
  • competitive spirit and drive when it comes to achieving targets
  • previous use of Opera and Salesforce systems is advantageous
