Senior Guarantee Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our Guarantees team in the role Senior Guarantee Analyst to provide world class service across all segments serviced onshore. This role will also provide support to trade transformation as the GTS Services team reshape the operating model and processing platforms to deliver the strategic objectives of TS and HSBC.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing best in class end to end operational service for high value, high complex guarantees transactions


• Understanding and reviewing processes to identify best practices which can then be shared, implemented and embedded across multiple teams


• Provide consultative advice to clients, Business Development Managers and Relationship Management teams on guarantee products


• Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, operating model refinement, and the impact of new technology


• Working as part of a team to deliver the wider teams objectives and initiatives
  
  In-depth knowledge of Trade specifically Guarantees - key understanding of guarantees practices and policies typically obtained over a period of time performing a variety of tasks within the operational environment.


• Knowledge and experience in complex Guarantees products and delivering for our clients is essential


• High commitment to service excellence


• Ability to review GTS processes and drive change and simplification


• Superior communication and influencing skills to manage clients and stakeholders in this complex environment.


• Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues.


The base location for this role is Canada Square, London with hybrid working.
