Another exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy and dynamic Nursing team as Health Care Assistant within the Sexual Health and Contraception Service in Worthing. We are a multi-professional progressive team providing a comprehensive, evidence based and patient focused service for Contraception and Sexual Health.,

• Chaperoning


• Microscopy


• Venepuncture


• Supporting colleagues


• Housekeeping


• Data inputting


• Communicating results to patients


• Asymptomatic screening of patients for sexually transmitted infections


• Support/promote Health Promotion Team


• Room preparation for clinics


• Ordering suplies
  
  Experience is desirable in diagnostic microscopy and venepuncture but not essential as all necessary training will be given to successful candidate.


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are imperative as the role requires a sensitive, confidential and non-judgemental manner at all times.
