Oxleas NHS Trust is searching for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join Working Age Adult admission wards. You'll play a vital role in supporting adults experiencing mental health challenges, offering them hope and stability during a difficult time., Acute and Crisis Directorate : Healthcare Assistant (Mental Health) at Oxleas NHS Trust - Make a Difference Every Day

  • To work as directed by a registered nurse.
  • To provide physical care to patients in accordance with their care plan
  • Understanding the need for and always maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Adhering to all organisational and ward policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensuring good working relationships with patients, carers, relatives, other professionals and prison and healthcare staff.
  • Developing an understanding of and demonstrating use of clinical supervision to reflect upon and modify practice.
  • Behaving at all times in a professionally acceptable manner

    o Care Certificate and some experience as a Health Care Assistant (or relevant qualifications).o Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.o A compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to support patient well-being.
