Senior Health Care Support Worker

We are looking for a part time Senior Health Care Support Worker. The post will require working the following shift patterns: Monday - 0800-1800 Thursday - 0800-1800 Friday - 0830-1400 Saturday - 1 saturday in 4 - 0900-1300, Unity Sexual Health is a busy, dynamic clinical environment providing sexual health and contraception services., A Senior Health Care Support Worker (SHCSW) is a core member of the team delivering direct care to patients and supporting registered practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate health care to people in accordance with assessed needs and a care plan. You will carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare, or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner, in accordance with the Trust values., welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. • You will be a Health Care Support Worker with previous experience in any setting. You do not need to have previous sexual health experience but must need to demonstrate a genuine interest in the area.
• You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside and supporting a variety of health professionals.
• You will be comfortable working with a very diverse patient group.
• You will put our patients at the heart of what you do, be able to work under pressure, have excellent organisational skills and be an effective and flexible team member.
• You will be able to work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
