Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Healthcare Assistant who wishes to join our team to cover maternity leave. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care.

You will work as an integrated member of the Community Mental Health clinic team, providing nursing care for service users in the community under direction and supervision of the Clinic Co-ordinator.

Main duties, tasks & skills required

The successful candidate will promote a positive and professional image of the Community Mental Health Team and act as an integrated member of the Community Mental Health clinic team working with others to support quality of care and ensure the person is at the heart of everything we do.

NVQ3, or equivalent experience in Health and Social care., Computer literate.

12 Lead ECG recording proficient.

Physical observations recording proficient.

Phlebotomy proficient.

Understanding of Risk and Risk assessment., Physically capable of performing the role and responsibilities expected of the post holder.

The final combination of Southern Health and Solent Trusts is anticipated to occur in July 2024, when the new organisation will be formed.

Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
