Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified HCAs to join out team as Senior Healthcare Assistant. Our department is extremely busy and we are extending our nursing team.,
- Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
- Assist in the preparation of patient for treatment, interventions or procedures in the Emergency Department.
- Make unoccupied beds and occupied beds.
- Assist patients out of bed, helping with dressing and undressing as required.
- Assist with manual handling and transferring of patients complying with the Trust Moving and Handling policy.
- Assist with preparing the Emergency Department for procedures/interventions and clearing up the environment after the procedures/interventions are completed.
- Assist in the general cleanliness and tidiness of the unit including clinical rooms, assessment areas, sluice and storerooms.
- Chaperone as per chaperone policy
