Full Job Description

As a Senior Night Healthcare Assistant, you'll have a vital role in our client's team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Support residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medication according to individual care plans
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
  • Lead and support junior care staff in day-to-day tasks
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions

    In this role, you will be responsible for delivering personalised care to our client's residents during night shifts, overseeing the well-being of the team, and contributing to the development and implementation of individualised care plans. Your commitment to creating a warm and inclusive environment, along with your strong communication and interpersonal skills, will be essential in fostering a sense of belonging and support for both residents and colleagues.

  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above
  • Proven experience in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
