Full Job Description
As a Senior Night Healthcare Assistant, you'll have a vital role in our client's team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Support residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication according to individual care plans
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
- Lead and support junior care staff in day-to-day tasks
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering personalised care to our client's residents during night shifts, overseeing the well-being of the team, and contributing to the development and implementation of individualised care plans. Your commitment to creating a warm and inclusive environment, along with your strong communication and interpersonal skills, will be essential in fostering a sense of belonging and support for both residents and colleagues. Do you have what it takes to excel in this role? We're looking for someone with: - Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above
- Proven experience in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
