Full Job Description

As Senior Healthcare Development Lead you will lead high performing teams in the design, development, implementation and successful embedding of a wide range of healthcare improvement initiatives related to Bupa's care policies, pathways, interventions, access to care routes and propositions.

You'll help us make health happen by

  • Lead the identification of opportunities which improve the customer experience and deliver high quality clinical outcomes

  • Lead, coach and develop members of the healthcare management team in a way which inspires them to realise their full potential and achieve consistently high standards

  • Lead the strategy, design and delivery for a significant area of healthcare improvement

  • Play a leadership role in cross-functional project teams and work as a business partner with others

  • Demonstrate effective project management of multiple projects or programmes of work, including monitoring of key performance indicators and delivery milestones, and effective stakeholder engagement and management of senior leaders

  • Apportion responsibilities clearly to individual team members and own the deployment of effective risk management and control systems to ensure customer outcomes are achieved

    Experience or detailed understanding of health care industry

  • Proven track record in leading the scoping, design and implementation phases of complex business change initiatives involving cross functional teams

  • Strong knowledge or experience of using change management-specific methodology and skills including gap analysis, process mapping, workshop delivery

  • Experience of leading the formation of complex and high impact business cases and presenting business plans / reporting to senior leaders / external parties

  • Experience of using negotiation and influencing skills to successfully navigate complex decision-making with challenging stakeholders

  • Experience of developing communications to promote or demonstrate the value of initiatives across multiple channels and to a wide range of audiences
