Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic flexible individual with previous experience of working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant (Care Certificate completed) to join our team to provide high quality nursing care to patients within the specialist Gynaecology outpatient clinics. This is an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and skills and to make a difference to the patient experience. This post will enable the successful candidate the opportunity to work within Women's Health and care for women who require a broad range of specialist investigations, procedures and treatment in an outpatient setting giving rise to a varied and interesting role., Working as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker will involve carrying out assigned tasks involved with direct patient care whilst maintaining the privacy and dignity of patients. This will be whilst demonstrating excellent care, compassion and communication, and in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse or Nursing Associate, incorporating: Assist in the effective management of patients attending Gynaecology Outpatients including during planned and unplanned Gynaecological procedures, examinations and treatments Undertaking training and competencies related to the role Undertaking and recording of Vital Signs Infection Prevention and Control
