Full Job Description
Join our busy Helpdesk team located at the heart of campus, within the Student Support and Safeguarding Department, in supporting our students to have the best University experience! The role of Student Support and Safeguarding is to ensure that students, parents/guardians, and staff can readily access the information, advice and support available, enabling them to fully benefit from their academic and broader experience. Your primary focus will be working on our Helpdesk facilitating an in-person service and providing administrative support for the specialist teams within the department. This can mean a diverse workload which is often demanding and can include interacting with and supporting students and parents in distress. As a Senior Helpdesk Assistant, you will act as the first point of escalation and will be responsible for oversight of various admin tasks and projects. You will also play a key role in decision making and shaping new processes. You will report to the Operations Team Leader in Student Support and Safeguarding., and with an increasingly agile workforce, are open to flexible working arrangements
