Full Job Description

You'll help make a difference as a Development Management Senior Technician in Gloucestershire County Council's Highways Development Management team, ensuring Gloucestershire remains a desirable location where people want to live, work, and visit. We need you to provide support to the Highway Adoptions team by undertaking technical audits of Developer-led infrastructure, liaising with stakeholders, maintaining databases and administration systems, and actively contributing to the ongoing improvement of the team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong technical and engineering acumen, a commitment to sustainability, the ability to work under your own initiative, and have excellent organisational skills. You will bring your problem-solving skills and customer-focused nature to a talented team delivering a crucial service. We want you to be proactive and committed to your professional development within civil engineering and, more specifically, highways development management., It is a legal requirement, under the Immigration Act 2016, that anyone appointed to a 'customer facing role' must be able to demonstrate an ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English.
