Full Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for senior / post CCT trainees to undertake research and clinical work under the primary supervision of Professor Fares Haddad. The post is initially for 12 months, but can be extended if the incumbent wishes to complete a higher degree. There is funding for a PhD for suitable candidates with a strong academic track record.

The main focus of the role will primarily be in lower limb arthroplasty (including robotic surgery) and sports surgery. There will be access to a weekly operating list at UCLH with exposure to both simple and complex primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty cases in a busy unit. Working alongside a dedicated research team and playing an integral role in service delivery, the successful candidates will enjoy a multitude of opportunities and be expected to produce high quality research for peer reviewed publication and national/international presentations.
