Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Home Support Assistant. Your duties will be:
- Providing care and support to people in their own homes
- Carrying out Environment Risk Assessments.
- Supporting the induction of new Home Support Assistants.
- Assisting members of the Management Team to deal with medication issues.
- Completing Community Observation check lists.
- Supporting the Management Team to complete necessary quality assurance audits.
- Office cover to deal with low level enquires from staff and Service Users.
To hold RQF Level 2 or equivalent eg. NVQ Level 2 in care. - To have at least 2 years experience of working with vulnerable people.
- To hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
- To be able to work shifts.
The role will be a mixture of 'hands on care' (approximately 60%) and low level management tasks.
The successful applicant will undertake an enhanced DBS check.
