Full Job Description

To carry out duties on the work schedules to support colleagues working within the Directorate of Estates and Facilities and with other departments working within the Trust.
The post holder will be expected to work as part of the wider Hotel Services team, providing an integrated and flexible service, and as such may sometimes be required to undertake duties within other areas of the Hotel Services Department should the needs of the service demand it, + Responsible for the ordering, receipt, and issuing of Estates building and engineering products.
+ Responsible for ordering Domestic cleaning products and to support with placing linen orders.
+ Unload, check and sign for incoming goods against official paperwork utilising the E- Fin computer software program.
+ Receive stores and maintain appropriate materials management and stock control processes to assess stock levels, orders, deliveries, receipts, lost/damaged items, repairs and returns. Advise on cost effectiveness and stock control within designated area of responsibility.
+ Accept deliveries of goods on site for wards, departments and outside contractors and Redirect to the appropriate team.
+ Order stores stock requirements from Supplies department and external suppliers
+ Issue, check and order disposable stock
+ Using the in-house franking machine, frank all outgoing mail selecting the appropriate charges applicable.
+ Take receipt of patient's deliveries into stores and redirect
+ Liaise with the Trust's Financial Accounts and Supplies Department
