Full Job Description
As Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering strategic and operational HR services across the School, supporting over 3,200 colleagues and 1,000 visitors. Reporting to the Head of HR and deputising alongside another Senior HR Business Partner as required, you will manage two teams to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of services, including: - HR business partnering - Workforce planning - Resourcing including Clinical Contracts - Pay and reward - Supporting Equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)
Your leadership will ensure HR strategies are aligned with the University's People Strategy and the School's academic vision, while addressing the unique challenges of a diverse workforce, including clinical staff on NHS terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities. - Lead, motivate, and develop your teams to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused approach to service delivery. - Develop and implement HR and workforce plans that meet the strategic needs of the School, University, and NHS. - Provide expert advice and innovative solutions to senior stakeholders on complex HR issues, including case management, policy development, and organisational change. - Partner with senior leaders to deliver transformational HR initiatives that foster an inclusive and engaged workforce aligned with the School's mission to "do great work in a great place to work." - Collaborate with external partners on the Biomedical Campus, including NHS trusts to ensure effective partnership working.
