The Senior HR Business Partner (Snr HRBP) powers the trajectory of their business by ensuring it has the culture, talent, organizational capability, and builder experience necessary to innovate on behalf of and operate for customers. The Snr HRBP understands both, their business and HR, using this combination to develop, lead, and execute an integrated HR strategy., The Snr HRBP role is proactive, looking over the horizon to anticipate the needs of customers and the business. They act as owner/operators, with a Bias for Action, driving initiatives and tactics to enhance the capability of the organization. As a Snr HRBP, you will drive a positive employee experience through your detailed understanding of HR programs, processes, and tools, offering credible and clear HR advice to Amazon's managers. From resolving complex HR queries with colleagues to perfecting new policies and programs, you will make a real difference in how Amazon operates. Snr HRBPs primarily collaborate with an L7+ business leadership team and other PXT teams, such as HR Partner, Talent Acquisition, and Centers of Expertise (COEs).,
- Become first point of contact for leader's HR queries
- Coach senior Managers on HR related topics
- Complex employee case management in line with local legislation
- Conduct investigations in consultation with management
- Assess organization business performance against strategic and annual plans
- Collaborate with management to execute recruitment, on boarding and training initiatives and internal mobility
- Partner with the HR team to develop and implement communications plans
- Manage and deploy small to medium scale HR projects and change initiatives
- Partner with managers on performance management and talent development and provide insights into impact on comp & benefits
- Identifies capabilities required for future customer and business success
- Support rollout of compliance initiatives and provide counsel to management in regards to local employment law and legislation changes
- Develops and drives long-term workforce plan, including intentional location, level, and job family & diversity mix plan
- Analyze data and provide recommendations to improve processes, employee engagement and policy alignment across the business A day in the life Snr HR Business Partner get involved in a wide range of different projects and work with a mix of diverse stakeholders, all with one goal: to make Amazon a great place to work. - Extensive experience in HR management and Leadership roles
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related field
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.

- Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
- HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP)
- Experience managing small to medium scale projects.
- Experience as a people leader, with a focus on hiring and developing the best talent.
- Speak a second European language
