Full Job Description
- Conducting hydrogeological investigations, including aquifer testing, borehole installation, and groundwater sampling.
- Analysing and interpreting hydrogeological data, including water levels, water quality, and hydraulic conductivity data.
- Conducting numerical modelling to support conceptual site models and risk assessments.
- Preparing technical reports, proposals, and other documents for clients and regulators.
- Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulators.
- Collaborating with Principal staff members on project management and technical guidance.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
Post graduate degree level qualification in hydrogeology, engineering geology, catchment management, hydrology, geomorphology or similar. - Practical and technical experience within consultancy, or within other relevant industries.
- Experience of UK water resources and permitting legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
- Team and project management skills commensurate with your grade and experience.
- A valid full UK driving licence., A positive, self-starting, and flexible attitude with a real interest in learning and growth.
- A desire to get stuck in and apply expertise in a pragmatic way.
- A passion for building great relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
We are a close-knit, client-focused firm of water scientists and engineers. Our core services cover industrial and private water supplies, flood risk management and drainage and water treatment. We have forged close working relationships with private individuals and national and global businesses, including DIAGEO, Nestle, Astra Zeneca, Bellway Homes, Associated British Ports, and Elveden Estates. Our merging with RSK will enable both companies to rely on mutual expertise and greatly expand our hydrogeology and hydrology capabilities. Envireau Water will continue to deliver the excellent service they are known for while also exploring new opportunities across the public sector. - A salary in the region of Up to £40,000 with a higher salary potentially negotiable.
- Performance based individual bonus scheme.
- Permanent contract, working 40 hours per week within Monday to Friday. Flexibility is available with start and finish times as well as office location.
