Full Job Description
The Senior Information Analyst will engage in all elements of the data lifecycle:
- working directly with service users to understand their business requirements,
- acquiring data from a variety of different systems,
- managing the transition of data into the data warehouse,
- manipulation and analysis of data, and
- creating and disseminating reports., This role has a specific focus on supporting the Online CBT service. The analyst will ensure internal and external stakeholders receive high quality, accurate information that clearly identifies key headline messages to support the improvement of service quality, efficacy and efficiency, enhancing patient safety and outcomes. The role involves building effective data systems, creating Power BI reports, and liaising with the platform provider to ensure the most effective data on patient activity is provided.
Strong SQL skills, - Experience of data warehousing in SQL Server Management Studio or other environments such as Data Lakes,
- Advanced Excel skills, and
- Experience of working with SSIS or other data integration applications, cloud-based technologies, and data visualisation tools such as SSRS or Power BI. Excellent communication skills will be required to engage with staff and stakeholders at all levels within Powys and external organisations.

This is a full-time fixed term position until the end of March 2026 within the Allied Health Professionals, Health Sciences and Digital Directorate. The role is based in Bronllys Hospital, although agile working is encouraged and supported. Successful applicants must be able to occasionally travel and work on site, with a flexible approach to home working.
