Develop and execute a comprehensive Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) & automation strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks and processes.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing small team of platform & automation engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Develop and promote a developer experience focus, providing developers and engineers with the tools and services they need to deliver applications quickly and efficiently.
Build and maintain self-service platforms for developers and engineers, using automation to improve the developer experience
Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies to optimize efficiency and scalability.
Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for various platform processes, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
Enable Automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management to reduce manual intervention and improve reliability.
Establish robust monitoring and alerting within automation processes to proactively identify and resolve issues. Continuously optimize automation processes to improve performance and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of automation efforts.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation, and implement them to maintain a competitive edge.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snr Infrastructure Platform Engineering & Automation Manager to lead our IPE & automation team initiatives and drive operational excellence. This role is critical in streamlining our platform processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the reliability of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Platform & automation technologies, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of delivering results., 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering and automation roles.
Proven experience in leading and managing IPE & automation teams.
Experience of establishing Infrastructure Platform Engineering ways of working
Manage environments and application deployment using infrastructure as code (IAC)
Deep understanding of automation frameworks, tools and IAC (e.g., Terraform, CDK & Ansible)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of REST/SOAP/JSON web service API implementation
Strong Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with a focus on automating infrastructure deployment and management.

VPC, Route53, ELB, EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, EKS, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, etc
APIM, AKS, PaaS, KeyVault, etc.

Expert knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps / DevSecOps practices.
Experience of establishing workflow automation within low-code platforms, Power Platforms, ServiceNow Automation Engine etc.
Experience creating and maintaining training material & blogs
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.
