Full Job Description

As a Senior IT Business Relationship Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will serve as a strategic interface between IT and specific high IT dependency business units., Day-to-day, as a Senior Business Relationship Manager for a particular business area, you will develop comprehensive stakeholder relationship strategies and plans.

  • Building long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external) will be a key activity to improving the value IT brings to our customers.

  • You will have wide and detailed IT knowledge, together with detailed understanding of the goals, vision, principles of relevant business and markets of the relevant business sector.

  • You will know how to make and sustain a business case through effective benefits management. Strong planning, communication and presentation skills and the capability to listen and influence, with a good knowledge of project quality management will be a critical proof-point of your success.

  • You will be mobile, confident, friendly, calm, assertive, and able to balance logical analysis with the emotional appeal that changes perceptions and wins commitment.


  • This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with travel being required to visit customer sites across the UK.

  • Extensive experience in IT business relationship management or a similar role

  • Experienced communicator with high levels of written and verbal skills and the ability to influence and convince senior leaders

  • Proven track record of managing senior-level stakeholders and a collaborative approach to aligning IT with business strategy

  • Strong experience in strategic planning and roadmap development

  • Understanding of complex information and requirements backed by excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, We value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you., The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
