The IT Programme and Projects Team within University Hospitals Sussex is recruiting a Senior Project Manager Position for an immediate start to join our team of project managers, IT business partners and digital nurses. Our large Trust is delivering a series of major clinical transformation programmes for the benefit of our clinicians and patients. The role presents a wealth of opportunities to extend the skills and knowledge for the right candidate who possesses a passion for driving change in the health setting.
Reporting to the Head of Programmes and Projects, the Senior Project Manager is a key member of the Programmes and Projects team. This role will lead and manage projects within the digital programme portfolio including end-to-end life cycle from inception to closure of projects with high complexity, challenging and/or highly sensitive deliverables. The role is responsible for matrix management of identified project team who are responsible for the definition and delivery of the Digital projects., The post holder will provide overall programme and project management and co-ordination of all activities within these projects with responsibility for scoping, planning, design and delivery of agreed projects within time, cost and quality.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in digital health and have a proven track record of delivering complex projects in both the technical and change arena. You will be a strong all-rounder who can manage multiple projects and workstreams concurrently, effectively engage, collaborate and communicate at all levels and quickly grasp complex concepts including clinical risk and patient safety.
