As Ormiston moves into an exciting new phase, we remain absolutely focused on ensuring that our curriculum sets our pupils up for lives of choice and opportunity. By 2030, our aspiration is that many more of our children, are accessing excellent learning opportunities, inside and outside of the classroom, which enrich their lives and afford them choice and opportunity in the future. All of our schools have outcomes that are above the national average with our disadvantaged outcomes in the top 20% nationally. We know that a high-quality curriculum taught by expert teachers is critical to achieving that vision.

This exciting role will be critical in helping shape and develop education in your specialism for over 35,000 pupils in the trust. Leading fellow lead practitioners, your role will focus on strengthening the subject curriculums across all of our academies, overseeing and directing the creation of a curriculum in your own subject, drawing from best practice internally and externally. You will also be critical in shaping the direction of training for subject leadership development all the way through to ITT curriculum.

This is a national role, based at home but with regular travel to our academies and head office.

When you join us at OAT you can be certain that your work will have purpose and meaning. You can also expect robust and holistic support from us to enable you to excel in your role. You will have access to an attractive benefits package including health cash plan, salary sacrifice schemes and a wide range of retail discounts.

About you:

You will be an expert and experienced leader, with the drive and determination to improve standards of reading, writing and oracy.
