Full Job Description
The post will be predominately research, and this time will be spent planning, recruiting patients, and taking consent, carrying out imaging and organising investigation of patients, collecting, and analysing data, meeting with supervisors, writing manuscripts. The postholder will be required to carry out research clinics and attend ophthalmology teaching. Some parts of the job plan may be flexible and finalised before commencement of employment after discussion with the successful applicant. - Medical Degree
- Minimum one year full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on part-time or flexible basis) Other Requirements Essential
- Full registration and a licence to practice with the General Medical Council Experience Essential
- Basic Slit Lamp Skills including Fundus Examination Teaching and Audit Desirable
- Experience of audit Academic Achievements and Research Desirable
- Research and Publications Interpersonal Skills Essential
