Full Job Description

  • To assist the Finance Manager with the provision of expert financial management service to a portfolio of clinical units and/or corporate departments.

  • To assist with the responsibility of monthly reporting for these areas, including the production of information, cost, and income analysis, forecasting and the presentation of this information.

  • To assist in the production of the month end reporting and production of the accounts for their directorates providing completed accounts for review by Finance Manager and Business partners.

  • To support unit managers and clinicians in the discharge of their financial responsibilities, including the development and reporting of Cost Improvement Scheme (CIP) plans and the financial modelling of service developments.

  • To co-ordinate & share the central management accountant team workload and ensure they are completed accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
