What you'll do The Senior Manager VBSE connectivity and infrastructure is accountable for Core connectivity technologies, infrastructure delivery and field deployment for VBSE and its customers. The role owns and manages the end-to-end technology, supplier and service support aspects and must satisfy unique, significantly challenging and often ground-breaking requirements. In addition you will:
- Be accountable for the Core connectivity technologies, infrastructure delivery and field deployment to customers with the highest security requirements; including CNI and Public Sector
- Lead DWDM/Satellite technology solutions across VBSE and its customers. Ensure appropriate technology decisions are made within VBSE and for VBSE customers that will satisfy customer requirements.
- Ensure installation standards to meet H&S & Customer KPI's
- Leads the VBSE Field capability to meet delivery/Operational KPI/SLA's for customers with the highest security requirements.
- Be a key stakeholder for pre-sales, ensuring commercially viable solutions that are deliverable by Vodafone.
- Ensure appropriate technology decisions and operational capability and performance exists within VBSE Core connectivity and infrastructure for VBSE customers. Who you are
- Expert knowledge in a wide variety of Network infrastructure including DWDM, Satellite & Fibre solutions with knowledge of security requirements and solutions.
- Understanding of IT frameworks and sources of good practice guidance (e.g. ISO, ITIL, NCSC).
- Leadership across multi disciplined domains and leading capability for high end secure customers with adherence to accreditation/audit/compliance frameworks and controls
- Understands and able to lead, motivate and develop technology disciplines. Proven record of supporting business growth by developing customer solutions and evidencing security to customers.
- Communication and influencing skills. Able to articulate, write and present complex matters in a high quality, clear and concise manner appropriate to the audience.
- Relationship skills. Able to identify, own and develop effective working relationships at various levels and work collaboratively with stakeholders with minimal direction.
- Work effectively in a matrix organisation and build strong relationship and credibility with Board/ Executives both internally and externally.
