Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager - Corporate Affairs to join our team within Vistry Services, based out of our Devonshire Square offices in London. As our Senior Manager - Corporate Affairs you will be responsible for managing and pro-actively delivering Vistry's Public Affairs activities, and for the development and implementation of Vistry's Public Affairs Strategy.

  • Support the successful delivery of the external communications plan, financial communications and Vistry's corporate narrative, ensuring consistency of messaging and successfully positioning Vistry in the media and to wider stakeholder audiences.

  • Act as counsel to leadership of the business on Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, and Crisis Management. Support leaders to be great advocates for the business externally.

  • Deputise for the Head of Corporate Communications and Brand where required.

  • Day to day management of Public Affairs and Financial Communications agency.

  • In partnership with other teams and specialist leads, develop thought-leadership campaigns and engagement.

  • Prepare briefing documents for senior leadership team engagement with key stakeholders.

  • Develop and drive delivery of Vistry's public affairs strategy, including stakeholder engagement planning and events, working with key advisers in planning, partnerships, and other key policy areas.

  • Advise leadership on external matters and help mitigate political, regulatory, and legislative risks.

  • Develop political briefings, letters, speeches, and maintain relationships with officials, politicians and industry bodies.

  • Deliver communications to land Vistry's corporate brand, narrative and campaigns, building a consistent, coherent, compelling and differentiated brand that demonstrates how we are a strong partner, a great place to work and a business that does the right thing.

  • Build media engagement plan and develop strong relationships with key journalists and commentator across national and trade press.

    Significant experience working across corporate communications and public affairs

  • Strong contact book and ability to develop relationships with senior external stakeholders

  • Understanding of how regulatory developments can impact the business and the role of public affairs and communications in managing these challenges

  • Strong understanding of internal and external communications

  • Experience in representing and engaging in industry organisations

  • Passionate interest in media, politics, news and current affairs.

  • Excellent written skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Confident, outgoing, great communicator in high-pressure situations and remain calm.

  • Personable, approachable and helpful

  • Willing to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Creative mindset

  • Full UK driving license is required
