Full Job Description

The Senior IT Service Manager, Regions will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of IT services to various regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in IT service management, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of regional business dynamics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing service strategies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering strong partnerships with regional stakeholders/leaders, whilst managing a team of dedicated in region Service Manager., Develop and implement regional IT service strategies:

  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to understand their specific IT needs and align service strategies with business objectives.

  • Evaluate existing IT service delivery processes and identify opportunities for optimization to meet regional requirements.

  • Define clear goals and objectives for regional IT service delivery and develop actionable plans to achieve them.


  • Oversee the delivery of IT services to multiple regions:
  • Lead the regional IT service delivery team to ensure timely and effective delivery of services, including incident management, problem resolution, and service requests.

  • Monitor service performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of service delivery and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of regional IT service operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.


  • Lead a team of IT service professionals:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the regional IT service team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations to support their professional development.

  • Identify training and development needs for team members and provide relevant resources and opportunities for skill enhancement.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
  • Work closely with other IT teams, including infrastructure, applications, and security, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT services with business operations.

  • Partner with regional business leaders and stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and requirements and advocate for IT service enhancements and investments.

  • Engage with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements, and resolve escalated issues.

    You will have extensive experience in service management roles in a diverse environment.

  • You will be expected to be an excellent communicator with the ability to relate technical issues in simplistic and meaningful way to colleagues and 3rd parties.

  • You will be pro-active and drive for continuous improvement and have a focus on delivering results.

  • You must have strong Relationship Management skills and be able to demonstrate influence across peers and stakeholders, whilst taking full accountability and ownership of IT Services.

  • Experience managing Opex budgets and forecasts

  • Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers

  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices in IT service management.eg SIAM

  • Experience of setting strategic direction for a team to ensure cohesive ways of working across the Global regions

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to achieve performance goals and deliver results.

  • Experience of managing IT Systems across a global organisation
