Full Job Description

The Senior Manager (m/f/d) EMEA Inside Sales- Service Contracts & Products will facilitate effective relationships between the Service Operations team, Field Service Engineers, and our customers. This role is crucial in leading administrative processes to drive team efficiencies and enhance the customer experience. A day in the Life

  • Lead and develop a team of inside sales managers responsible for various sales territories, including EMEA.
  • Prepare accurate monthly forecasts of orders and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Service and FAS teams to support their goals and drive incremental business.
  • Apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies to streamline processes.
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
  • Develop strategic plans that support divisional businesses and ensure monthly sales and important metric targets are met.
  • Assess staff performance and provide mentorship and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth and adequate information flow within support groups to facilitate business operations.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of the business climate, applications, and competition within the defined geography and accounts.
  • Supervise customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed.

    BS/BA in Business Administration or a related field., In-depth understanding of people management, sales strategies, and tactics.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • ideally 10+ years of service sales experience.
  • Prior experience managing sales functions or teams.
  • Experience in a biological science company is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Business fluent in English, other european languages are of advantage
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel (Power BI proficiency is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of EMEA business models.
  • Ability to travel between 25-50% internationally.
