Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with our investment & wealth management leadership teams, proposition owners and Q&TE leads to develop and implement 'Go to market' propositions to attract new clients
  • Creation of tailored test strategies and approaches for large, complex or specialised client test delivery
  • Planning and managing client test delivery, ensuring the testing meets quality, time and cost objectives
  • Providing advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively within a testing activity
  • Reviewing test processes and practices and coaching the team on enhancement opportunities
  • Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
  • Supporting the management of key client stakeholders' relationships and leading teams of Deloitte and client personnel
  • Taking responsibility for budgets (or portions of budgets), client deliverables and billing
  • Leading the creation of discussion decks and proposals, and participating in client orals during the client bid process
  • Act as a role mode, helping to develop and mentor junior resources
  • Contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership in Q&TE

    Deep investment or wealth management industry expertise gained in complex client-facing environments, ideally with exposure to the CRD or FNZ technology suites
  • Experience in defining test strategies for large and complex IT change programmes within the investment & wealth management industry
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to bridge both technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience of building and strengthening key client relationships
  • Experience of functional system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and non-functional testing including performance and automation
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent)
  • Test management tool expertise (such as JIRA/HP ALM/X-Ray)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-driver
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and often changeable client environment
  • Strong commercial awareness of how change/transformation programmes operates
  • Additional desirable experience includes:
  • A proven track record in a top tier consultancy
  • Exposure to additional Investment Management & Wealth industry platforms such as, BlackRock Aladdin, Avaloq, SS&C and Sonata
  • Exposure to test automation tools
  • Ability to design and implement test automation frameworks
  • ISTQB Certified Agile Tester qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in administering a test management tool (e.g. ALM, Xray for Jira, Zephyr)
