Senior Medical Photographer Teledermatology

This is a specialist clinical photographer's post that has lead responsibility for CUH's Teledermatology service. This is a 1 year maternity cover position.
The service operates from within the hospital setting and at several outreach clinics within GP practices and the Ely Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC).
The specialist photographer will be responsible for lesion photography and dermoscopic imaging for patients with suspected skin cancer and other skin conditions. You will also be responsible for managing the Teledermatology Photography team and will work closely with the service management for skin., Teledermatology Service
The Teledermatology service is led by Medical Photography and the Skin Service (Dermatology and Plastics), providing patients in the community with a more efficient and accessible pathway to treatment/discharge for suspected skin cancer and other skin conditions.
Outreach clinics will be administered by the Dermatology team and carried out by the photography team in clinical settings off-site. The photographs taken will be an accurate record of the patient's condition and used by the Skin Consultants to provide a diagnosis and/or treatment plan.
You will be a part of the clinical photography team, working alongside the clinical photographers and video editor, but will have particular responsibility for the Teledermatology team's image requirements. You will have regular correspondence with Skin Consultants, Operational Management and Administrators, and provide standardised photography and dermoscopy of patients.
You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for the output of the section in terms of both quality and timely delivery of clinical photography, providing advice and training as necessary, both at CUH and the outreach clinics., At Cambridge University Hospitals, we want to do all we can to support good working days.
