Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced rota co-ordinator, ability to work on own initiative to identify and resolve issues. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of general medical staffing across the division. They will be responsible for entering locum shifts for medical staff and act as the first point of contact for issues relating to junior doctors including sickness reporting.
The post holder will be supported by Emergency and Acute Medicine Service Manager and General Manager. They will work closely with medical rota co-coordinators, clinical leads, divisional clinical directors and bank partners to ensure there is safe medical staffing provision for Division.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Eva Roulstone, General Manager, Division of Medicine [email protected], The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of medical staffing rotas across the Medical Directorate, working on own initiative to identify and resolve issues and taking action as deemed appropriate. The post holder will co-ordinate, log and monitor all
types of leave for medical staff, including Consultants in the Directorate.
They will act as the first point of contact for issues relating to Junior Doctors including sickness reporting, annual leave, study leave, shift swaps and organising locum cover. This will include involvement in induction and training days.
The post holder will co-ordinate and support recruitment within the Directorate. They will work with the medical team to support Statutory Mandatory compliance for General Medicine.
