Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Senior Meeting & Events Sales Manager, based at London Stadium as the primary focus, and Wembley Stadium, both in London. What will you do?
- Represent London Stadium and Wembley Stadium within the UK and overseas, increasing the profile of the venues at key industry events, as well as managing and developing the Business Account Managers, ensuring individual sales projects and targets are achieved
- Manage and analyse KPIs on sales activity, and competitor market trends to provide the M&E Director recommendations for adjustments to the sales and marketing plan
- Support site event planning to deliver optimum services by maximising room occupancy, managing client inquiries, ensuring accurate client data, and overseeing contracts and deposits
- Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies, including online and offline campaigns, to drive lead generation, client retention, and revenue growth across target markets and key accounts#
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, conduct regular sales visits, ensure adherence to invoicing procedures, and driving continuous improvements
- Ensure Delaware North UK's compliance with the contractual obligations of Wembley National Stadium Ltd and London Stadium 185 in relation to non-event day sales, as well as all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices as per Delaware North, Wembley National Stadium Ltd, and London Stadium 185 policies and standards of excellence
5+ years' relevant experience, with experience in sales - Knowledge of the industry, preferably within a hospitality or catering environment, with a strong service orientation and customer focus
- Highly motivated, personable, confident self-starter, with a proactive attitude and driven for success
- Ability to travel to work at London Stadium 3 days a week, and Wembley Stadium 2 days a week
