Full Job Description

Flexible working arrangements may be considered and discussions with the recruiting manager regarding this are encouraged., The post will involve holistic mental health assessments, signposting and liaison, specialist clinical input to children and young people with physical health and co morbid mental health issues, working with parents schools and educating colleague's. You would need to be confident and competent in positive risk assessment and management with robust care plans and be able to provide brief solution-focused interventions to support children, young people, and their families., The post holder will be a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team and will carry continuing responsibility for the assessment, treatment and management of a defined caseload. Where appropriate, they will be required to liaise with other local agencies including Tier 4 inpatient and specialist centers, as well as the Mental Health Liaison Team and the home treatment team.
Provide specialist interventions for referred people within a therapeutic framework, both individually, with families and in groups. Also providing advice and support for other professionals as required.
Ensure that all case records are maintained accurately, legibly and contemporaneously and that all information acquired in the course of carrying out their duties is treated in the strictest confidence but is shared with all professional colleagues in line with information sharing policy/protocol
