Full Job Description

This Senior Netcall Liberty Create Low-Code Developer will report to the Analytics and DevOps Lead and will work within the IS Digital directorate based in our London office. You will be a permanent employee., As a Senior Netcall Liberty Create Low-Code Developer at UK Power Networks, you will help improve our digital transformation. You will lead a small team to develop the latest low-code solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and customer experience., You will provide high-quality solutions that meet the highest standards. Your Architecture or Dev Ops background will help you embed these into our diverse technology landscape. This is an important role that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and grow within a collaborative team environment. Scope Problems and Driving Change:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and senior partners to understand requirements and translate them into strategies, designs, and finally low-code solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest low-code development trends and best practices.
  • Improve strategic architecture decisions to ensure all applications under your responsibility can stand the test of time.
  • Projects and Teams, Line Management:
  • Manage and lead projects from brainstorming, scoping, delivery, testing, hand over and support.
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs to enhance your and your direct reports low-code development skills.
  • Manage a team of low-code developers (one direct report, but wider management in project context) to provide high-quality solutions.
  • Line managing one individual immediately, with scope to increase.
  • Manage multiple partners required to contribute to the success of your projects
  • Represent and Advocating for low-code applications
  • Represent the low-code development team in meetings with partners and advocate for using low-code solutions.
  • Develop the Low code technology strategy.
  • Customize and extend existing low-code applications to address specific needs.
  • Design, Building and Overseeing applications:
  • Create applications and workflows using the Netcall Liberty Create low-code platform.
  • Manage partner collaboration across Customer Services, Network Operations, Connection Services and Connections
  • Provide service excellence of above 93 (/100), as measured by the internal CSAT process.
  • Perform quality assurance and testing to ensure the reliability and performance of developed applications.
  • Document development processes, workflows, and application configurations.
  • Take ownership of the low-code development process and ensure that solutions meet the highest standards.
  • Maintain existing applications, troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for low-code applications.
  • Improve UKPNs wider digital agenda
  • Represent the digital team's short term and long-term strategy in senior partner meetings, beyond just low code
  • Set and build strategic direction for Low Code applications in the wider digital context
  • Use javascript, css, vue framework to meet our requirements for when the low code falls short.
  • Demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of low-code solutions to partners and contrast to alternative technical options.

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
  • Netcall Liberty Create certification (minimum Level 2 required)
  • Developer skills in Javascript, ASP.NET, jQuery, Vue framework, CSS, querying MS SQL DBs and building APIs
  • Experience with MS products especially SharePoint, GraphAPI and Power Automate
  • Experience with the UK Utilities industry, especially around the workings of a DNO
  • Experience with building & supporting digital solutions

    You will attract a salary of £75,000.00 and a bonus of 7.5%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote Close Date: 18/10/2024 We also provide the following additional benefits
