Full Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (Adult) you'll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Isle of Wight by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from

  • Developing and leading clinics,
  • Undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.
  • You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions

    You will be a Registered Nurse (Adult), NMC qualified and will have evidence of continued professional development throughout your clinical career thus far. Having an understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, coupled with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach will enable you to succeed in this role, as well as a proactive approach to problem solving.

    Currently our core hours of operation are
  • Primary care nurses - 07:30 -17:30 IHU nurses rotate throughout 24/7 service This position is full time 37.5 hours a week and you'll receive an annual salary up to £49,585 per annum FTE - depending on experience. Golden Hello - £3,000 (£1,000 in 6 months of service, £1,000 after 12 months and £1,000 after 24 months of service - conditions apply). How will we support you?
