Senior Nurse- Safer Staffing, Band 7

As Senior Nurse - Safer Staffing, you will be responsible for the overall clinical and operational delivery of the organisation's acuity and dependency safer staffing tools across the organisation. You will be involved in continued development and improvement of the safer staffing agenda and be a visible presence to all departments., You will work together with the Associate Chief Nurse and Lead Nurse towards shared goals for workforce planning and development. The candidate will be required to demonstrate leadership, management and communication skills. Ideally the applicant will have recent experience working at a senior level and possess some knowledge in the application of the Safer Staffing tools, Optima, change management, and feel confident to influence practice with all levels of staff. You will provide senior expertise, utilising safer staffing evidence-based tools and up-to-date relevant national guidance for safer staffing within the nursing
