Full Job Description

The Role of the Urology Nursing Assistant with administrative responsibilities is essential to the organisation and function of the urology nurse led ambulatory unit.
The post holder will be responsible for a range of delegated , non-clinical and clerical task in support of the departmental patient pathways
The post holder will act as a first point of contact for the urology ambulatory service, acting independently to organise the logistics of planning and populating a variety of departmental clinics.
Where possible deputise for the early diagnostic urology patient tracker, · Organise all aspects of clerical duties including reception duties, maintenance of computerised and manual record systems, booking appointments, filing and ordering and storage of supplies.
· Co-ordinator for weekly clinics at both sites
· Demonstrate excellent customer care skills.
· Attend relevant study sessions for clerical support.
· Organise the delivery and retrieval of specimens if appropriate, items & equipment to and from the clinical area including various clinic bases
· Maintain a clean, safe, hazard free environment.
· Utilise and update all TRUST patient record systems
· Deputise for the EDT
