Full Job Description

The SNA will provide basic elements of patient care, assisting with procedures/chaperoning, application and removal of simple dressings, obtaining blood samples and ecgs, and some clerical duties such as dealing with patient notes and referrals., The role of this nursing assistant post is flexible, and the post holder will therefore, be required to provide support over a wide range of service/functions. These may include but are not limited to

providing some basic elements of patient care, assisting with procedures/chaperoning, application and removal of simple dressings, obtaining blood samples and ecgs, and some clerical duties such as dealing with patient notes and referrals.

The post holder will be required to work according to a locally agreed Code of Conduct for Nursing Assistants
