Senior Nursing Assistant

Are you a compassionate person and strive to put others at the heart of what you do?, We are looking for a senior nursing assistant to join our team on Neurosurgery Red/High Care ward at the John Radcliffe.

We are a 22 bedded unit, with 7 of these beds being designated to our High Care area where we care for acute neurosurgical patients with complex care needs.

Our patients may have a deficit with their motor skills and will often need assistance with mobilising, washing and dressing, and feeding.

On Neurosurgery Red/High Care Ward, we aim to provide exceptional care to ensure our patients are supported throughout their hospital admission so that we can strive to get them home to their loved ones.

We are looking for a kind and compassionate individual, who puts their patient's at the heart of what they do and who enjoys working as part of a team towards a shared purpose., You would be responsible for providing care to neurosurgical patients including providing personal cares, assistance with feeding, assisting with manual handling and working alongside the nursing team to meet the needs of our patients.
