Full Job Description

Are you a current Basic Grade OT wanting to take the next step in your career to a Senior OT post? Or are you currently practicing as a Senior OT but are interested in the experience that an acute hospital rotation will provide? If so, we have the job for you!
This exciting rotational full time post in the Specialised Division of the Therapies team at the University Hospitals of North Midlands has rotations including:
+ Inpatient:
o Acute Rehabilitation Trauma Unit
o Paediatrics
o Fractured Neck of Femur
o Elective Orthopaedics
o Trauma
o Neurosurgery & Neurology
· Outpatient:
o Hand Therapy
You will have the opportunity to be involved in providing early rehabilitation and complex discharge planning for a range of different conditions and injuries that are treated within a major trauma centre.

Main duties of the job
You will be part of a large combined therapies team, which can offer a wide range of learning and development opportunities. Supervision will be provided by an Advanced Therapist and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.
Therapy Services at UHNM work within a 7 day shift system therefore the post holder will be required to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays., 1. All correspondence will be sent to you via the email address you applied from. Please ensure you check your emails regularly.
