Full Job Description

The starting salary for this role is £23,199.50 per annum (pro rata to £46,399 FTE), based on an 18-hour week. We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing professional Occupational Therapy to children, young people and families living in Surrey. The team is based in Woodhatch Place, Reigate. However, this is a community-based hybrid role so will involve visiting children in their homes, working from your own home, and/or office-based work., This is a children's social care Occupational Therapist role. It is primarily focused, but not limited to, applying your specialist skills and knowledge to support our duty OT service. This will involve you managing a complex caseload, providing focused or full Occupational Therapy assessments, advice and support for children and young people with a wide range of needs and will include completing risk assessments for the provision of specialist equipment and making recommendations for major and minor adaptations. You will work alongside our experienced specialist team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Social Workers and Support Workers. We offer access to formal and informal learning opportunities, support and supervision that encourages Therapists to be creative and innovative and to continuously develop their skills. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapy Team Manager.
