Full Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with the experience and confidence to work autonomously within the community. You will be required to use your previous experience to work as part of a multidisciplinary team whilst using specialist skills to assess occupational performance and inform rehabilitation objectives, interventions and community treatment plans.
You will bring a comprehensive understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy in a community setting and within the context of Intermediate Care. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and able to draw on their experience to deliver high quality clinical services to the population, whilst offering specialist input within the team
The service is delivered through multiple site clinics and home visits. The post holder will work flexibly and be mobile across the Hounslow Borough.

The Community Recovery Service is an integrated provider with the London Borough of Hounslow offering Intermediate Care and Reablement for Hounslow residents. The team is comprised of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Rehabilitation support staff.
The service delivers on a range of pathways including community rehabilitation, Reablement and community intermediate care following hospital discharge. The service operates 7 days per week and staff are required to work at weekends and on Bank Holidays as part of a rota.
We are currently seeking a senior Occupational Therapist with a broad range of skills, experience and knowledge who is looking for an opportunity to further develop skills in community rehabilitation and Reablement.
