We are looking to recruit an OT who has a keen interest and passion for Occupational Therapy in mental health. You will have excellent communication skills, sound clinical reasoning and a strong understanding of the OT role in promoting recovery. The successful candidate will receive regular supervision, access to CPD opportunities and be part of a supportive OT network. Additionally, there will be the potential to further develop supervisory skills and assist with service developments, including an evolving OT group-work project. Please note:This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. This post may close early due to high numbers of applications so you are advised to apply promptly. All posts are subject to the nationally agreed Agenda for Change terms and conditions.

- In collaboration with the service user, plan, implement and modify where necessary, individual and/or group interventions to promote peoples' occupational performance, enhance ability to fulfil meaningful life roles, develop daily living skills, address occupational risk factors (e.g. occupational deprivation, imbalance, alienation) and promote inclusion in their local communities.
- Apply specialised knowledge and research awareness to initiate innovative clinical projects that promote service users' social inclusion and counter occupational risk factors for people with MH problems.
