Senior Officer, Quality Assurance

The Senior Officer, Quality Assurance for Leica Biosystems is responsible elements of the site quality system. May include specialized responsibilities in Quality Systems, Design Quality or Supplier Quality, depending on the size and complexity of the business This position is part of the QARC Department located in Leica Biosystems Newcastle and will be an Onsite Role. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the Quality Assurance Team and report to the Senior Manager Quality Assurance. • Use Danaher Business System (DBS) tools on a regular basis to continually improve the QA function.
• Work closely with QARC management in developing quality objectives
• Maintain working knowledge of relevant regulations and quality system requirements that affect the business.
  
  Ability to apply practical QA experience and knowledge to one or more area(s) of quality assurance.
• Ability to identify, analyze and mitigate risk (e.g. product, material, compliance, supply)
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask
• Strong communication skills. Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information. Works to build consensus
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Experience in the IVD field preferred experience very beneficial
