Full Job Description

Reporting to The Senior Digital Editor, you will help us create content, come up with ideas, update our existing content to keep it "evergreen", monitor the topics that are driving traffic, optimise our content and set up our daily newsletter.

We're looking for a writer who is comfortable writing about personal finance, pensions, investments and property, and explaining these topics in plain English to help them make the most of their money. . In the longer run there's a great deal of scope to shape the role according to your skills, and to develop your own profile as a writer. Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • A strong interest in and understanding of the investment and personal finance sector.
  • An ability to write through different lenses for various audiences adapting tone and writing style to fit with a variety of brands.
  • Applicants should feel comfortable analysing the intricate nature of financial products to be able to help readers understand the best deals for them.
  • You will also have a key focus on great web user experience so our users can easily action any tips we bring to them in our articles, whether that is to find the right link to apply for a product or how to use an in-house calculator with ease
