Full Job Description

The Senior Operations Manager- Skills, will secure budget and contribution by ensuring all performance targets are met, by supporting and leading the Skills delivery team and their team of tutors in the provision of services to ensure effective timetabling to maximise resource and capacity and the successful deployment of resources and achievement of agreed financial, performance and qualitative KPIs.

You will need to demonstrate high ethical standards, take personal accountability for everything you do, and always want to be the best. You must have excellent people management, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to analyse individual and team performance, identify remedial actions, realistic solutions, and work with colleagues to implement rapid improvements.

The role will lead the Skills team in both Skills and B2B activity., + Demonstrate up to date knowledge of Employment and Skills reforms including the Skills England, Levelling up agenda, Adult Education and DfE/ESFA
+ Up to date knowledge of Functional Skills reforms and impact to funding and delivery
+ Experience of commercial delivery and Business to Business (B2B) activity
+ Ability to demonstrate being highly organised, have excellent planning skills and be able to deliver to agreed target dates
